Regular readers may’ve noticed we’ve sent more of these Intown Haps emails this year than in the past.  Well, the reason is that we’ll often get a home all lined up to feature, and before the email goes out on Friday it’s already under contract!  Buyers are snatching up good homes as soon as they hit the market, so if you’ve been considering selling your home give me a call.  I’ll be glad to give you a realistic idea of what your home’s worth in today’s market–most people are pleasantly surprised!

823 Delmar Court
Ormewood Park
3 Bedroom / 2 Bath

Just listed by The Intown Agent, this place is right on The Atlanta Beltline’s Southern Trail!  Renovated just three years ago, the brick home features an open kitchen with tons of cabinet space, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops.  The master suite addition is generously sized with a faboo bath and walk-in closet, and the location can’t be beat.  It sits on a quiet cul-de-sac street close to East Atlanta Village and Edgewood Park and is adjacent to five acres owned by the Trust For Public Land.

Atlanta Restaurant Week

It’s finally here! Downtown Restaurant Week 2013 is ON!  As in the past, Downtown’s best restaurants will be offering fantastic prix-fixe brunches, lunches, and dinners at unbelievable prices all week, but this year they’ve stepped it up a notch and are partnering with some of the city’s fabulous iconic hotels offering great staycation rates.  Sample the signature cocktails without having to worry about how you’ll get home–and you’ll get to know downtown again.  It really is a special place. Click on the image above to find out more about all the faboo events they’ve come up with this year, or here for a complete list of the participating restaurants–you’ll be glad you did.

2013 Atlanta Ice Cream Festival
You knew that July is National Ice Cream Month, right?  No?  Well then you have some catching up to do!  Your best bet’s going to be to cruise by Piedmont Park Saturday for the the 3rd Annual Atlanta Ice Cream Festival.  And don’t let the name fool you–this festival’s not just about promoting our nation’s favorite dessert, but also working it into a healthy lifestyle.  Get ready for a full day of fun with lots of laughter, wellness demonstrations and activities, and even free health screenings…and of course, ICE CREAM!  There’s no charge to get in, but I guarantee you’re gonna want to patronize the vendors!  Click on the image above and check out their nifty website and learn all sorts of interesting trivia about ice cream, or hit up their facebook page here.

…and that’s not all the fun haps going on around town this weekend.
