Regular readers may’ve noticed we’ve sent more of these Intown Haps emails this year than in the past.  Well, the reason is that we’ll often get a home all lined up to feature, and before the email goes out on Friday it’s already under contract!  Buyers are snatching up good homes as soon as they hit the market, so if you’ve been considering selling your home give me a call.  I’ll be glad to give you a realistic idea of what your home’s worth in today’s market–most people are pleasantly surprised!

A True Oasis In The City!

2089 DeKalb Ave • Lake Claire
One of the coolest homes in Lake Claire that you’ve probably never noticed has just hit the market.  Designed by architect Carlos Tardio, the Zen-like entrance, or zentrance if you will (ugh…sorry!), leads you through a forest of black bamboo to a peaceful patio complete with koi pond.  The tranquility continues inside with hand finished surfaces, tons of natural light, and an upstairs balcony and rooftop deck.  And to crank up the cool factor another notch, this home was originally owned by Grammy nominated Atlanta musician Shawn Mullins–THIS is the house that Lullaby built.  Click here or on the image above for photos and more information on this über cool space.
